The delegation was warmly received by Mr.Bruno, General Manager; Mr. Ming, Deputy General Manager; and Mrs.Chenyuan, among others. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on China–Cuba relations, as well as international educational exchange and cooperation. The meeting was chaired by Mrs.Alegría.

Ambassador Blanco Silva noted that this year marks the 66th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Cuba, highlighting the profound friendship forged between the two countries over decades of engagement. He particularly emphasized that, in the face of prolonged external blockade pressures, the Chinese people have consistently extended firm support to Cuba, while the Cuban people have demonstrated resilience and an unyielding spirit.
The Ambassador also shared his personal experiences since establishing ties with China in 1986, and emphasized that, with the support of the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, more than 3,000 Chinese students were once sent to Cuba for further studies, marking the beginning of over 60 years of educational exchange and cooperation between the two countries. He further pointed out that Cuba was the first socialist country in Latin America to establish diplomatic relations with China, and that both sides share strong mutual trust and deep resonance in their historical processes and development paths.

Ambassador Blanco Silva expressed his recognition and support for Yimi Education’s efforts in promoting higher education cooperation between China and Cuba in recent years, noting that both countries will continue to deepen collaboration in various fields, including medical education, food safety, energy, cybersecurity, information technology, and culture and tourism.
Mr.Bruno, General Manager of Yimi Education, stated that the institution’s team is composed of young, dynamic professionals with strong expertise and a deep passion for Cuba and Spanish language education. He emphasized that the team is a trustworthy and dedicated international education group. He also noted that educational cooperation between China and Cuba is a long-term endeavor, and that Yimi Education will continue to move forward steadily, pursue innovation through practice, and contribute greater value to educational exchanges between the two countries.
