On the morning of April 21, 2026, a delegation from the Central University “Marta Abreu” of Las Villas (Cuba), led by President Luis Antonio Barranco, Director of International Relations Yanelys Delgado Triana, and Secretary General Ramiro Alberto Pérez Vázquez, visited Yimi Education. The delegation was warmly received by General Manager Bruno, Deputy General Manager Ming, Chenyan, and other representatives. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on China–Cuba educational cooperation and talent cultivation.

As the China Office of the Central University “Marta Abreu” of Las Villas, Yimi Education has long been committed to promoting educational exchanges and cooperation between China and Cuba. By fulfilling its role as a liaison office in China, it has played a vital bridging role in project coordination, resource integration, and communication.

During the meeting, both sides conducted extensive exchanges on talent development, international curriculum cooperation, faculty and student mobility, and joint training programs. They also reached broad consensus on advancing multi-level cooperation in the future.

Central University "Marta Abreu" of Las Villas is one of Cuba’s most prestigious and influential comprehensive public universities, as well as the alma mater of Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdey, President of the Republic of Cuba. It boasts profound expertise in engineering technology, education and scientific research. This visit has laid a solid foundation for future international educational exchanges and cooperation in China, and boosted educational exchanges between China and Cuba, as well as between China and Latin America, to a higher level.
