---2023 Silk Road University Alliance Forum Held
On the morning of October 8, the "2023 Silk Road University Alliance" forum opened at the Western China Science and Technology Innovation Port, with representatives from 55 universities around the world attending.

A total of 14 universities, including the University of Havana in Cuba, have applied to join the "Silk Road University Alliance".
The "Silk Road University Alliance" was initiated by Xi'an Jiaotong University and has currently been joined by more than 160 universities from 38 countries and regions. With the theme of "Development and Innovation of World Higher Education under the Background of New Technological Revolution", this forum aims to promote high-quality all-round exchanges and cooperation among Belt and Road countries in the fields of education, culture, technology, industry, medical care, etc. Efforts will be made to build the alliance into an important cooperation platform in response to Belt and Road initiative.
