The University of Havana, Cuba, has officially joined the Silk Road University Alliance, aiming to promote the cultivation of scientific and technological innovation talents. Dionisio Zaldívar, the vice president of the university, attended the signing ceremony and signed a memorandum of understanding with the prestigious Xi'an Jiaotong University. The University of Havana is the first university in Cuba to join the alliance and the second university in Latin America to join the alliance.
