In the 2023 Women's World Cup final, Spain won the champinship after beating England 1-0, becoming the second country to win the World Cup for both men's and women's football teams.

Germany was the only country to accomplish this achievement before. The German men’s football team won the World Cup in 1954, 1974, 1990, and 2014, while the women's football team won the World Cup in 2003 and 2007.

The Spanish men's football team won the World Cup in 2010, and the women's football team won the World Cup for the first time in 2023.
